Gabriel F. Jiménez, NCDRC Certified Mediator

Gabe has over 25 years of experience litigating workers' compensation, negligence & construction cases.  In 1997 he graduated from The Florida State University College of Law and began his legal career in Miami, representing insurance companies and self-insured businesses. His family relocated to North Carolina in 1999, and in 2002 Gabe opened up his own law firm continuing his litigation of serious injury cases. Gabe has extensive experience working with experts to set up life care plans & complex financial structures that have beEn integral towards successful case resolutions.

SERVICE IN LEGAL COMMUNITIES

Gabe has spent time working together with a diverse group of attorneys across our State, including a 3-year term on the Board of Governors of the N.C. Bar Association; Member of the N.C. Equal Access to Justice Commission (2017-22); served on the Board of Directors & various committees of the Wake County Bar Assoc. & teaching at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Law as an Adjunct Professor. This background of collaborating with other attorneys combined with the litigation experience lends itself to the mediation process. 

FLUENT IN SPANISH

Gabe is fluent in Spanish and has found it helpful to establish a rapport with Spanish speaking parties. This tends to increase everyone’s comfort level with the process, which leads to a productive mediation.

PROFESSIONAL FEES

Once a date is agreed upon by all parties there is a $275 Administrative fee + $275/hour as long as the conference lasts.

Will provide services at a mutually agreed on location.  Travel fees for in-person mediations outside of Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill.
